Abstract
Our ERC project, based in Oxford and Warsaw and now in its fourth year, has produced a mass of data on the cult of the saints, up to around AD 700 and across the whole of Christendom. This paper explores hierarchy amongst the saints, and the different levels of cult that different types of saint achieved across the Christian world.
