Dear Students,
The Office for Student Affairs of the University of Warsaw would like to invite you for two information meetings on a new Act on Foreigners which came into force on 1 May 2014.
The meetings will be conducted by representatives of International Organization for Migration – the leading intergovernmental organization specialized in migration law.
The programme of the meetings includes:
Legalization of residence in Poland (visa, permit for a temporary residence permit, longterm residence, permanent residence permit)
Differences between student visa and a temporary residence permit,
Procedure of application for a residence permit,
Completing apprenticeship or traineeship during studies,
Taking up a job during studies,
Legalization of stay after obtaining university diploma,
Polish descent and Card of the Pole holders’ rights,
Possibilities to learn Polish language.
The meeting conducted in English will be held on 21st of May (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. in room number 207 in the building of the Old Library in the Main Campus. The meeting conducted in Russian will be held on 28st of May (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. also in room number 207 in the building of the Old Library in the Main Campus. It will last approximately one hour.
Please pass this invitation to all the students who might be interested in participating in the meetings (especially students from countries outside the UE).
